Free coffee all day, friendly staff, free fruits every breakfast, with free Palawan key chain. Plus, on our last day in El Nido, they let us use the shower in lobby to change and even gave us towels even though we already checked out that morning. Kudos. You are doing a great job!

Lolo Oyong Pension House and Restaurant is like your own quiet, ancestral home in picturesque El Nido. Their staff are very friendly and are attentive to your needs. It's hard to find a good signal in El Nido but Lolo Oyong is one of the spots in the town of El Nido where Wi-Fi connection is pretty fast! And the best thing about them is that they serve a super heavy breakfast that will give you more than enough energy to start your tours in El Nido.

Positive: Strong hot and cold shower, comfortable bed, air conditioned rooms, free coffee all day, beautiful breakfast with tropical fruits daily, very helpful staff, 8 mins walk to the beach, shops and tours are nearby.
Negative: noise from motorbikes as the b&b is in front of the road, they dont change towels or make the room unless you asked from the reception, they dont serve lunch or dinner, wifi connection is not that strong.

We enjoyed our stay. We agreed that the pension house was very cozy, and the staff were very welcoming. They were very patient in answering our questions.
Actually, we noticed that people were very kind and welcoming in Palawan.
The location was decent. It's near "sari-sari" stores, a pharmacy, massage parlors, and there's even 24 hour eatery a few blocks from the pension house.
What caught me off guard was that they did not serve food after breakfast, except for a few instant noodles in the kitchen. Hopefully in the near future, lunch and dinner will be available as well.
Breakfast was very good. I loved their corned beef.
We experienced loss of electricity a few times during our stay. It's a good thing that the second room that we transferred to wasn't that hot even without electricity. Electric fans were working since they have their own generator.
Each floor has a mini bookshelf which was very nice.
They gave us souvenirs when we left.
We will stay here again.
